Central Sector Scheme to generate employment opportunities by setting up new micro-enterprises.

Scheme Objectives

The PMEGP is a credit-linked subsidy scheme for setting up new micro-enterprises and generating continuous and sustainable employment opportunities in Rural and Urban areas of the country.

Financial Assistance

  • Max Project Cost: ₹50 Lakhs (Manufacturing)
  • Max Project Cost: ₹20 Lakhs (Services)
  • Subsidy: 15% to 35% of project cost

Eligibility

  • Age: 18 years and above
  • Minimum 8th pass for large projects
  • Only new units are eligible
